MEET CAITLIN MASSIE

Caitlin Massie is formally trained Exercise Physiologist and Human Movement Specialist, CSCS and TSAC-F.  She earned her degrees from Old Dominion University: Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2012 and went on for a Masters of Science in Education in Coaching Education in 2016.

After an internship with ODU’s D-I program and a Graduate Assistantship, a volitional internship with a military Human Performance Program turned into a fulfilling career for nearly a decade, of working alongside tactical athletes to educate, equip, and optimize their human performance and resiliency.

Her passion for designing and implementing restorative Strength and Conditioning programs has been validated hundreds of times by analyzing results against gold-standard biofeedback devices like force plates and metabolic carts for VO2max and ventilatory threshold analysis, and game-day field assessments.  Her skill in interpreting sports science data and utilizing that data to drive intelligent training programs and retest/analyze program efficacy has been all the more motivating to pursue continuing education.

Currently, Caitlin works with O2X and Virginia High Performance as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Outside of work life, she enjoys adventures with her 5 year old twins and husband, and three fur babies.  She continues to get her sporting thrills through jiu-jitsu.
